Hotel Ferrara

The hotel presents itself as an unexpected metamorphosis. It aims to create a unique connection with its context, its layers, and its cultural value, making it impossible to overlook the relationship between architecture and pre-existing elements. These connections are projected into a narrative dictated by a succession of spaces systematically linked to contemporary living. Through design, we wanted to describe the history of the place, which aims to appear not just as mere accommodation, but as a creation of true sets. These sets allow for perfect intimacy between the guest and the surrounding environments, creating an authentic atmosphere that evokes the native architecture. The palazzotto is the heart of the hospitality structure, a small fortress where all main activities are concentrated, much like in ancient residences. The rooms provide a sense of serenity and connection to a world where the finishes are of high quality. The classical manor style encapsulates the noble taste of Ferrara, emphasized by the use of bright colors. On the other hand, the residences represent the perfect balance between private dwelling and hotel, offering exclusivity, sophistication, and authenticity. The rooms are presented with a somewhat more modern look, inspired by the residential style of the seventies, also through the use of soft colors. Materials and nuances, therefore, reinforce the design essence and give it a mutable soul.
